Water Cooler and Chiller Functions and Features:

CHOICE OF SCREW COMPRESSOR of emerson (u.s.a), danfoss (Denmark) , Bitzer (Germany).All options are semi-hermetic in construction, thereby making them maintenance friendly. It is all about  geometrically uniform & consistent moving parts, they have very low vibration and are examined in accordance with AHRI/European Standards. These screw compressors come with an in-built oil separation system and an additional external oil separator can be added depending upon the nature of industrial application. Oil level change, CCH heater and economizer port are provided as standard part of the OEM supply along with check valves at suction and discharge port.

HIGH COPPER as a result efficient condensing of the refrigerant.. Since the condensers are generously oversized, efficient condensing of the refrigerant leads to lower IKW.

SHELL & TUBE EVAPORATOR is built with copper tubes of 19 SWG that enables them to withstand hard water with PH greater than 8. The copper tubes contain  star turbulator inserts that offer turbulence to the refrigerant flowing through the copper tubes. As a result of this turbulence these Shell & Tube evaporators have extremely efficient heat transfer with the copper tube. The shell is manufactured from high-grade steel. The evaporator is designed as per ASME Section VIII Div.1.

ULTRA EFFICIENT CONDENSING using outer finned copper tubes outcomes in efficient heat transfer as it increases the surface area of the copper tube in collating to copper tubes without finning. The copper tubes are of 16 SWG which are flipper on the outer surface for up to 26 fins per inch. The copper tubes are mechanically expanded in a torque controlled process on tube sheets that are manufactured on imported VMC machine. Since the tube sheets are manufactured on VMC machines the pitch between copper tubes is precise.

ECONOMIZER FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY is offered as per refrigerant utilized and depending upon the chilled water temperature range desiderate. Economizer is offered as standard part of supply in process chillers opted for evaporating temperature of 5 deg. C or lower. The economizer/sub-cooler increasing the overall capacity of the chiller by 10%, and reduces the power consumption, thereby increasing the overall Coefficient of Performance (COP).

AVAILABLE IN A CHOICE OF REFRIGERANTS R-22 (Freon), R-407C and R-134a. Both R-407C and R-134A are eco friendly and non-ozone impoverishing refrigerants.

ADDITONAL AIR COOLED TYPE OIL COOLER is added depending upon the refrigerant used and the chilled water/brine temperature desired. The oil cooler helps maintain the oil temperatures flowing through the compressor within safe limits. The oil cooler fan is by default controlled depending on the oil temperature. This feature increases the screw compressor life.

LIQUID INJECTION is a qualified feature which is used to cool the motor winding compressor . As soon as the release temperature exceeds the normal level, an electric solenoid coil injects liquid refrigerant to stay the winding temperature within boundaries. This feature increases the life of the screw compressor.

THERMOSTATIC EXPANSION VALVE is offered as a qualified part of the water cooled screw chiller equipment. Electronic expansion valve can  provide also by preference.

CONTROL PANEL with IP-65 protection is provided as standard part of the water cooled equipment.

MICROPROCESSOR BASED CONTROLLER is a standard part of the water cooled screw chiller equipment. The controller allows numerous set points that can be configured to particular set of values that may be considered within the safe operating range. In case of any breach in any of the set point value the controller will trip the chiller after the fed safety delay period has passed and display it on the LCD display. Besides, the controller automatically adjusts the capacity in a stepped format making them ideal for variable load applications.

Optional Features:

CHOICE OF ELECTRONIC EXPANSION VALVE permits for precise control of refrigerant flow through the evaporator. The electronic expansion valve is extremely sensitive to execute variations & adjusts the flow of refrigerant with short response times to achieve power savings.

MAGNUM STEP-LESS CAPACITY CONTROLER creates the chiller highly efficient in part load conditions as it adjusts the capacity sleeplessly (25%~100%). Besides the Magnum controller permits direct communication through RS-485 to MODBUS and can simply incorporate to most BMS systems (Building Management Systems) available in the market.

SOFT STARTER provides smooth acceleration as voltage or current is applied gradually. Besides Soft starters also break the motor gradually as opposed to sudden jerk experienced in DOL or Star Delta type starter panels. This extra feature increases the compressor bearing life.
